# How money is made...

Money is basically a store of value, we won't really get into all that. Fiat money is basically printed and backed by \~trust, fear (and nukes). Print, print, print, or in the digital world mint, mint, mint. 

Hopefully you understand the basics of money and value. In the MU ecosystem our goal is to create passive income by allowing our asset reserves work for us. 

The MU Ecosystem has several \~active ways to generate revenue. That revenue is used mostly to acquire assets that generate passive income (that asset itself is generating additional income).
